Alabama Civic Chorale

 WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A PART OF THIS CHORAL GROUP?

The Alabama Civic Chorale has enjoyed a long rich tradition in the state of Alabama. It was formed in 1948 and as such is among the first in the Southeast to be organized as a civic fine and performing arts organization open to the community.  During that time the rich choral tradition has included many major works. 

 The Chorale is a non-auditioned group.  It was the belief of the founders 62 years ago, and the director today that music of the masters should be open to all.  If you want the opportunity to do wonderful music and are willing to commit the time and effort to share your talents with others, then  this will be a wonderful experience for you.  The Chorale is a special family and we welcome you as a new addition.

 Rehearsals for MESSIAH start the first Sunday in October,  in the choir room of Riverchase United Methodist Church.  Rehearsal time is 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The performance is November 22nd at 3:00 p.m.  at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover. We use the G. Schirmer score.
